Terms and Conditions

In order for your application to be considered, you must agree to the terms and conditions below. Please read the terms and conditions carefully.

• I certify that all information contained in my application is true, correct and complete to the best of my knowledge.
• I authorize full investigation of my personal and employment history, including a criminal records check, and understand that any false or incomplete information may preclude further consideration of my application or result in termination of any teaching assignment that may be offered to me.
• I understand that Participate Learning reserves the right to contact my employer to conduct reference checks as part of the application process and waive the right to review confidential references contained in my file.
• I consent to the use of the information contained in my application by Participate Learning for the purpose of evaluating my eligibility to be a Participate teacher and obtain a visa to allow me to teach in the United States.
• I understand that file documentation, once submitted, is the property of Participate Learning.
• I authorize Participate Learning to share the information submitted with governmental agencies or participating school districts and to use the information for such purposes as a reasonably necessary for Participate Learning to conduct its program.
• I understand Participate Learning requires a two year length of stay commitment as a minimum for program participation.
• I understand that Participate Learning reserves the right to select as candidates only those considered to be competitive for U.S. employment according to qualifications provided by U.S. schools and that acceptance as a Participate Learning candidate does not guarantee a position. I am aware that U.S. schools recruiting with Participate Learning make the final selection decisions.
• I agree to provide prior notice of departure as may be required by my current employer(s) according to my contract or the national education system in order to be a Participate Learning teacher. In doing so, I understand that employment at a U.S. school as part of Participate Learning is not guaranteed until a formal written offer of employment is extended and I confirm acceptance via my signature on the application.
