We recently asked alumnus Earl to tell us what he has been doing since leaving the program, and what some of his fondest memories were from his time teaching in the United States. Read below for Earl’s responses!
Q: What grade level did you teach?
A: I taught Grade 5.
Q: What school(s) did you teach at?
A: Mary Williams Elementary in Prince William County, Virginia.
Q: What inspired you to apply to teach in the U.S.?
A: My love for teaching, the opportunity to have an adventure, and the chance to learn about a new culture.
Q: What did you enjoy most about your time teaching in the U.S.?
A: Learning about the U.S. culture and getting the chance to utilize and learn new technology resources.
Q: Where are you now? Are you living in your home country, another country, or did you go somewhere else?
A: Currently, I am living in the Cayman Islands.
Q: Are you currently teaching? If not, what else are you doing?
A: I am still working in education and am enjoying a new adventure with my family.
