Dr. Jake Henry – Director of Education Programs
Dr. Jake Henry has over 23 years of experience in public education. With a background in teaching world languages, dual language administration, and school and district leadership, he brings rich insights on effective leadership response and support for dual language programs.
Murielle Hutchens – Associate Director of Education Programs
As a bilingual speaker of both English and Spanish, Costa Rican native, Murielle, has over 15 years of dual language teaching experience. Murielle joined Participate Learning in 2011 as a lesson plan designer and has since become our Associate Director of Education Programs. Working and learning from school administrators, district administrators, and ambassador teachers is what drives her day-to-day work.
Kevin Smith – Director of Partnerships
Kevin Smith has over 30 years of experience as a world language educator, trainer, curriculum developer, and dual language administrator. He’s an advocate for teacher training, development, and coaching, with a focus on student impact.
