Global Leaders Support
When you become a Global Leaders partner, we provide support with professional development, implementation, coaching, and the resources you and your teachers need to succeed.
Our services support in-person, blended, or online learning. We provide a variety of flexible options and approaches to meet the specific needs of our partners, such as:
- Access to the Global Leaders Community of Practice, a dynamic and collaborative online professional learning space complete with ready-to-use resources, instructional tools, lesson plans, and professional learning experiences for teachers
- Asynchronous courses
- Synchronous or recorded webinars
- Monthly live chats
Global Leaders professional development equips teachers with important global competencies and key instructional practices, called the Global Teaching Practices, that increase student engagement and encourage deeper learning.
Our implementation support ensures that Global Leaders doesn’t become something extra for teachers to do. Instead, we focus on aligning with existing school priorities such as:
- Academic rigor
- Student engagement and agency
- Culturally responsive learning
- Social Emotional Learning
- Career readiness
- Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- School Improvement Plan (SIP)
Participate Learning strategy coaches assist the school administration and global leadership teams with goal setting, implementation planning, tracking, and evaluating success.
Every new partnership begins with an in-depth onboarding process and a needs assessment session led by one of our strategic coaches.
All partners have access to a library of exemplar units, projects, and lessons that demonstrate how to integrate content curriculum and global competencies through action-based learning, which can be adapted to meet teacher and student needs.
Global Leaders Kit
As part of the onboarding process, new partners receive a Global Leaders kit designed to help schools share, promote, and highlight their commitment to global learning and leadership. This welcome package also contains both student and teacher-specific items that can be awarded to those individuals who are demonstrating the global competencies and global teaching practices.
