Laura Diaz – Education Programs Manager
Laura is originally from Lugo, Spain, and is fluent in Spanish, Galician, and English. She came to Participate Learning from Houston, TX, where she worked as a Teacher Development Specialist, curriculum writer, and dual language teacher trainer. Her favorite part of her role as a Program Manager is interacting with teachers and supporting them in any way she can in order to impact student success, as well as promoting respect, understanding, and acceptance among cultures.
CJ Egalite – Education Programs Manager
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, CJ Egalite is an Education Programs Manager with fluency in Creole and English. CJ has more than eleven years of experience working with K-8 students in the classroom. He is passionate about sharing his global mindset with students and giving educators the tools they need to teach students cultural awareness, acceptance, and pride.
Meriwynn Mansori – Education Programs Manager
Meriwynn Mansori is an Education Programs Manager from Oceanside, California. Her previous experiences as a professor of Spanish language and culture as well as the director, founder, and lead teacher at Carolina School of Languages provides her with the skillset to promote teacher effectiveness and student achievement in any setting. Her day-to-day work is driven by knowing her support to educators is providing high-quality, equitable learning experiences to children.
Judy Ouyang – Education Program Manager
Judy Ouyang is an Education Program Manager originally from Nanjing, China. With over 13 years of experience as a Chinese teacher, she has taught in a variety of settings and grade levels in both the U.S. and in Singapore. Her years in the classroom as well as her Master’s of Education in Elementary Education help her to provide ambassadors with practical experience and expertise to best support them and the students in their classrooms.
Molly Richey – Education Programs Manager
For over 8 years, Molly taught dual language programs in both Texas and Illinois. She had the opportunity to assist in creating curriculum and resources for the DL programs, as well as support new teachers as the program expanded across the district. Molly’s favorite part of working at Participate Learning is having the ability to learn from and support DL programs and ambassador teachers across the state of North Carolina.
Ashley Solesbee – Education Programs Manager
Ashley joined Participate Learning in 2018 after spending 13 years teaching in the classroom. With experience in designing and implementing global education curriculum, Ashley is able to connect with and support both our ambassadors and global leaders programs. Ashley believes that our ambassador teachers and their students are actively changing the world for the better through dual language and global education every single day in their classrooms.
Vera Woolard – Education Programs Manager
Vera Woolard, an Education Programs Manager, is a former principal of a dual language immersion school and instructional coach for traditional and dual language classrooms. She supports teacher by sharing best instructional practices so they can improve student learning and achievement. She is passionate about finding opportunities to expose students to diverse people, ideas, and resources so they are connected to the world around them.
Irene Zamora – Education Programs Manager
Originally from Madrid, Spain, Irene has a vast background in dual language instruction, both in the U.S. and abroad. After teaching, Irene worked behind the scenes, creating and designing curriculum and training for dual language programs, which made her the perfect fit to join our Education Programs team in 2019. Irene’s favorite part about working at Participate Learning is being able to learn from our ambassador teachers while helping them improve their instruction and skills.
