Ambassador Teachers

Since 1987 we’ve been connecting international educators with partner schools in the U.S. because we believe that cultural exchange can transform lives and create a more connected world. Each Ambassador Teacher plays an integral role in supporting schools to create global, cultural, and language connections.

Our process covers:

  • Recruiting teachers from more than 30 countries
  • Credential evaluation
  • Visa sponsorship through BridgeUSA
  • Placement in three U.S. states
  • Ongoing support for teacher success

I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to bring a cultural ambassador from the Participate Learning program to my teaching staff in the fall. This teacher will serve as a role model for students and will expand their understanding of global concepts while students also focus on learning NC standards in a NC classroom. This is a great opportunity for our students!”
