In a small community in the Blue Ridge mountains, Piney Creek School had a singular mission: provide students with a rigorous and engaging curriculum to cultivate a passion for continued learning.

To accomplish this, they sought a new curriculum and schoolwide culture shift that could leverage the agricultural and artisan values of the local community to inspire curiosity about the world and give students agency.
