Connecting Classrooms to Global Health Topics with the SDGs

In this episode of The Agile Administrator, we talk with Barbara Stilwell, a woman who has dedicated her entire career to Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. Stilwell is the Senior Director of Health Workforce Solutions at IntraHealth International, a non-profit organization operating in 37 countries around the world.

IntraHealth trains healthcare workers to implement best clinical practices while taking into account unique social, economic, and geographical situations in the countries where they work to ensure all people receive quality care.

“Building links between teachers and health workers is really important and yet we don’t do it very often,” Stilwell said. “They need many of the same skills, they serve many of the same people and building those links is critical.”
